Microsoft launches Surface Laptop 7 Smurface Edition and there are only 100 units
Microsoft has announced a special edition of the Surface Laptop 7 that is based on the recently released Smurfs movie. The limited edition laptop is already available to buy from Amazon, or you can try your chances at winning one from Microsoft.
The Surface Laptop 7 is available in three sizes — 13 inches, 13.8 inches, and 15 inches. However, the Smurface Edition is exclusive to the 13-inch model with a Snapdragon X Plus (8 core) processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.
The Surface Laptop Smurface Edition has laser-etched Smurfs on the lid and a blue Surface logo. It also has a Smurfs logo at the bottom corner of the lid. Save for these cosmetic differences, it is no different from the Platinum color option.
Available to buy now from Amazon for $999.99, the Surface Laptop Smurface Edition has the same price as the regular version. According to the Amazon listing, there are only 100 units available, so you have to hurry if you want one.
There's also the option to win a unit. Microsoft Rewards is giving away three units, and to be eligible to be selected, users have to complete Smurf-related activities to earn points and claim a free entry. The activities include coding a retro arcade game featuring Smurf characters using Microsoft MakeCode, downloading Smurf-themed backgrounds for Microsoft Teams, and more.
