The image processing solution company Pixelworks has partnered with MediaTek to bring "significantly" enhanced picture output to the Dimensity 9300 processor. The custom tweaks are rated to bring increased color-accuracy and smoother animations to smartphones powered by the new flagship-grade SoC. Pixelworks is confident that they should result in improved content-consumption experiences and gaming on the upcoming devices.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and its uniquely "all-big-core" configuration has finally been unleashed to take the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor on. Pixelworks asserts that its input will help the new SoC compete in the top-tier Android smartphone arena.

The "industry-leading content creation, video delivery and display processing solutions and technology" company has unveiled its new "visual processing Pro Software solution" for the Dimensity 9300 SoC. It is rated to confer "professional color calibration" on the smartphones to be powered by the new silicon.

Accordingly, the software is rated to make 9300-driven displays smoother and more realistic to a potentially "significant" degree. It is the latest example of the MediaTek x Pixelworks partnership established in 2021, touted to "bring innovative and true-to-life visual experiences...to our mobile devices", as MediaTek Corporate Vice President JC Hsu put it during the 9300's initial Chinese launch event of today (November 6, 2023).
