MSI Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport: Limited edition laptop announced with an expensive price tag and an OLED screen
At CES 2023, MSI unveiled a barrage of Intel Raptor Lake and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 series-powered laptops. Among them, the Stealth 16 Studio aimed to bridge the gap between a sleek form factor and powerful hardware. This time, MSI dropped the Studio tag altogether and gave the laptop a car-themed makeover, resulting in the MSI Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport A3VG.
As its name suggests, the laptop's general aesthetic is centred around Mercedes-AMG, complete with a Mercedes and AMG Motorsport logo at the back, right next to not-so-subtle MSI branding. It doesn't end there, though. One can also find the branding at the bottom, on the bottom plate, and even below the screen. The MSI Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport uses a selenite grey magnesium alloy chassis.
MSI also throws in an accessory package with the Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport. It includes a mouse, mouse pad, USB drive and a carrying case- all of which are Mercedes-AMG branded. The laptop is targeted at a "luxury" audience and carries an appropriate price tag of €3,299 (US$3,533). It is a limited edition model and will be available for purchase in the coming weeks.
With its exorbitant cost, the MSI Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport packs top-of-the-line hardware, including an Intel Core i9-13900H, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2 TB NVMe SSD and a 99 Wh battery. Other specs include a 16-inch UHD+ (3.840 x 2.400) 16:10 OLED screen, 2.5 gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, a standalone fingerprint sensor and a Thunderbolt 4.0 port.
