The IdeaPad Y560 offers some unique features for an $1100 15-inch laptop including a Blu-ray drive and switchable ATI graphics. The switchable graphics will be very important as those wanting long battery life will need to turn the dedicated graphics off otherwise they will suffer below average battery life. The unique SlideNav feature also offers a unique way to launch frequent applications quickly.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730: The HD 5730 is a higher clocked HD 5650 (and therefore not based on the desktop HD 5700 series). It does not support GDDR5 and therfore performs like a middle class graphics card with DirectX 11.
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
460M: The Core i5-460M has only 3 MB L3 Cache (compared to the I7-620M) and clocks between 2.53-2.8 GHz (Turbo Mode). Thanks to Hyperthreading, 4 threads can be processed simultaneously.
