KAMRUI AK1 Plus: Budget-friendly Intel N95 Mini PC launches with expandable storage
The Intel Alder Lake-N mini PCs are still rolling out at full fledge. And one of the latest entries is the KAMRUI AK1 Plus. Powered by the Intel N95 CPU, the mini PC clocks in at up to 3.4 GHz in Turbo. This processor boasts 6 MB of cache and is coupled with 16EU Intel HD graphics, which runs at 1.2 GHz.
In addition, the AK1 Plus is available with up to 16 GB of RAM. The base model, however, features 8 GB of RAM. But as the RAM is soldered on, it’s better to opt for the 16 GB model.
While the AK1 Plus might not break any performance records, the mini PC certainly holds its own. It can handle basic tasks and serve as a reliable media center, supporting up to two 4K displays.
But what really sets the KAMRUI AK1 Plus apart is its ingenious design. Under the sleek housing lies a detachable base. This base offers a world of storage possibilities. Users can opt for an M.2 2280 SSD or even integrate a 2.5-inch HDD.
On that note, this mini PC supports a whopping 6 TB in total storage. Its internal M.2 slot can accommodate up to a 2 TB SSD, while the base can support up to a 4 TB SSD or HDD.
The KAMRUI AK1 Plus doesn’t skimp on connectivity options either. It comes equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port, two HDMI ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and one 3.5mm audio port.
Moreover, the mini PC has support for Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 5, offering seamless wireless integration in different setups.
