The IKEA smart home product range is expanding in early 2026. In a recent statement, the company has teased more than 20 new devices which will support the Matter standard. Each can be connected to the brand’s Dirigera Hub, through which they will be able to integrate with other smart home ecosystems.

IKEA has teased a new range of smart home products. In a recent press release, the company discussed its wider Matter related strategy, as well as introducing the new Nattbad Bluetooth speaker. Plus, it shared some details about the upcoming Blomprakt speaker lamp which will be released in October.

In January 2026, IKEA will launch more than 20 new smart home products. Each of these will be Matter compatible when connected to the Dirigera Hub, allowing them to integrate with a wide range of ecosystems like Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. IKEA has not shared a list of these new Matter-over-Thread devices. According to The Verge, the new range will include smart lights, sensors and remotes, presumably replacing the brand’s older products. There are also said to be several new product types, though no further details were provided.

While pricing remains to be seen, the company has hinted that these new IKEA smart home products will be affordable, stating that it would offer “well-integrated solutions at prices that make smart technology more accessible". IKEA recently released an update for the Dirigera Hub. This brought a new Matter controller feature for the device, which is currently in beta testing. According to The Verge’s interview with an IKEA representative, this will roll out to all users by the end of 2025.
