Honor previews MagicPad 3 in new video ahead of the tablet's imminent launch

Honor is preparing to launch a brand-new premium tablet, the MagicPad 3. It will be fully unveiled alongside the Magic V5 on July 2, 2025. The company has already showcased the design in photos, and now, it has previewed the device through a new teaser video.

The video first shows the 13.3-inch display of the MagicPad 3, confirming its 165 Hz refresh rate and "3.2K" resolution. This new tablet takes advantage of the partnership between IMAX and Honor. It has the IMAX Enhanced label, which aims to offer a cinematic experience.

In addition to the display, the new video goes over the battery of the MagicPad 3, which has a rated capacity of 12,450 mAh and supports 66 W fast charging (100W Anker 25K power bank curr. $109.98 on Amazon). It also shows that the tablet has stylus support and can be paired with a PC-grade keyboard accessory that features a large touchpad.

As for the other specs of the premium tablet, Honor has already confirmed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This last-gen flagship SoC will be paired with up to 1 TB of storage and 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

Other than that, the Honor MagicPad 3 will be available in three colorways: white, gray, and gold. The company has previously shared that the tablet will weigh just 595 grams and be 5.79 mm thin, but the pricing details of the device have yet to be revealed.
