Model: Formal and sleek-looking; the HP ProBook 450 G2 Notebook certainly highlights the ProBook name. The entire chassis comes in dark grey with the interior finished in brush metal. The top cover has a matte look with only the HP logo standing out in gloss. Fluid lines and curved edges are certainly echoed all around the notebook's silhouette, the full sized tile keyboard comes in dark grey and the low profile look is maintained. Like any professional notebook, the HP ProBook 450 G2 Notebook comes in various customizable specifications.
At the top end of the spectrum there is a 15.6 inch FHD anti-glare LED-backlit screen, an Intel Core i7-5500U clocked at 2.4 GHz with Intel HD Graphics 5500, up to 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM, an AMD Radeon R5 M255 GPU with either 1 GB or 2 GB dedicated VRAM. Users can also select from a vast range of storage options ranging from 200 GB hard drives to 120 GB M.2 SSDs. Other features include an optional Blu-ray optical drive, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI out, a VGA port and a 720p HD webcam. Audio quality is good with DTS Sound+ driving the integrated stereo speakers. The HP ProBook 450 G2 Notebook can be powered by either a 4-cell, 44 Wh Li-Ion battery or a 4-cell, 40 Wh Long Life Li-Ion pack.
Intel HD Graphics 5500: Integrated graphics card (GT2) in the Core processors of the Broadwell U-series (15 W TDP).
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
5500U: Broadwell-based ULV (ultra low voltage) dual-core processor for notebooks and ultrabooks. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 5500 GPU and is manufactured in 14 nm.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
