Fujitsu LifeBook T580 convertible notebook goes on sale
The 10-inch Fujitsu LifeBook T580 slated to be shipping soon is now available for ordering. Although it functions in all aspects like as conventional netbook would, but hey that’s not all about it. The device can also be used in tablet mode by twisting the display and folding it over the keyboard.
Specifications
The 10-inch Fujitsu LifeBook T580 comes with a 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 pixel multitouch capacitive display, an active digitizer for pen input and has processing powered by an Intel Core i5-560UM processor. It also boasts of Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB and a 7200RPM hard drive.
Other specs include the bundling along of a 6 cell, 5800mAh battery. Connectivity is supported by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G wireless connections.
Price
Well one aspect where the Fujitsu LifeBook T580 would utterly disappoint as a netbook would be on its pricing aspect priced at a whopping 1599 Euros, or about $2200, thereby bringing it closer to be termed as a notebook as far is the price tag is concerned. We can hope for a better price point for US where generally it is cheaper to own a gadget.
The Fujitsu LifeBook T580 was first unveiled in September and will start shipping in Germany by the latter half of November, however there is no information on if or when the T580 will be available in the US.
