Fujitsu releases 15.6-inch LifeBook AH531 with spill resistant keyboard
Fujitsu has just made available the LifeBook AH531 laptop through its official site. The 15.6-inch notebook will include Intel’s Sandy Bridge processor with a spill resistant keyboard and numpad.
A concise specifications list is provided here:
- 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M processor
- Intel HD 3000 graphics at 1366x768 display resolution
- 4GB DDR3 SDRAM
- 640GB HDD
- Blu-ray drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3x USB 2.0, HDMI and VGA-out
The notebook will be running Windows 7 Home Premium and is expected to last a little under 6 hours with its 6-cell battery. Interestingly enough, Fujitsu decided to integrate a Blu-ray drive into the notebook but no USB 3.0 ports. The LifeBook AH531 is now on sale and starts at $849.

There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
