A new set of leaked real-life Tesla Model Y Juniper refresh pictures has appeared, showing the updated hubcaps, the interior with turn signal stalk, as well as the exclusive Glacial Blue color examined up close and personal for the first time.
Since the Juniper’s release date is not expected until March, such close-ups will have to tide Tesla fans over until the first reviews of the 2025 Model Y facelift. Tesla’s Gigafactories in Shanghai and Berlin have already started mass production, and review units have started to ship out to reviewers and Tesla stores alike.
On one of those trucks, someone managed to get a good 2024 Model Y vs 2025 Model Y comparison photo, showing up the difference in their rear design. The rear window now extends further thanks to a much less pronounced spoiler edge overhanging Tesla's unique reflective light bar that runs across the back of the Juniper refresh.
When it comes to exterior design, another picture reveals the new 2025 Model Y wheel hubcaps that look like blades. There are a number of real photos detailing the new Glacial Blue Model Y color, too, as well as the Pearl White version front and rear.
Perhaps the biggest new revelation, however, besides the fact that the first 2025 Model Y Juniper refresh reviews are already underway, are the photos of its interior. They show the new larger 15.4-inch central console display with the highest pixel density on a Tesla, as well as the ventilated seats.
There is now a genuine confirmation that the 2025 Model Y won’t come with a stalkless design like the Model 3 Highland refresh, too. Tesla is apparently not taking any chances by omitting the turn signal stalk on the Model Y Juniper. European regulators and American driving schools alike have been scoffing at the idea, and refusing inspections or licenses for the lack of regular turn signal stalk, and Tesla has obviously listened.
That doesn’t mean that Tesla will ship the Model Y Juniper with a turn signal stalk in the US, of course, as we have only seen the Chinese version of its bestselling vehicle for now. Last but not least, Tesla is providing a regular steering wheel on the Juniper, despite rumors that it might ship with the Cybertruck’s signature squircle wheel design.
