FiiO releases JadeAudio JF11 wired earbuds with 14mm drivers and U-shaped acoustic pipes for powerful bass reproduction
FiiO has launched the JadeAudio JF11 wired earbuds with large drivers and acoustic pipes for extended bass reproduction, low distortion, and smooth audio response.
In-ear earbuds sit inside the ear canal, and the tips help seal and block external noise, but they are often uncomfortable to wear due to the pressure of the tips and pick up earwax. Conventional earbuds that sit outside the ear canal avoid these issues.
The JadeAudio earbuds utilize large 14.2 mm dynamic drivers versus other earbuds that typically use 6 to 10 mm drivers. The longer stroke of the JF11 driver aids in the reproduction of powerful bass, which is further enhanced as the sound passes through the U-shaped acoustic pipe. The concept comes from earbuds of decades past, such as the AIWA HP-V14 from the 1990s.
The earbuds come in black and white to match other FiiO products, such as the CP13 portable cassette player sold here on Amazon. The JF11 with microphone and 3-button, in-line control can be ordered for $7.99, and the JF11 without microphone can be ordered for $6.99 from the FiiO store on Aliexpress. The earbuds ship with three sets of foam covers for a comfortable, secure fit.
FiiO states the JF11 weighs 0.51 oz. (14.5 g), but does not specify which version. Details on the frequency response and cord length are not provided. The wired cord with 3.5 mm headphone jack eliminates the environmental waste resulting from dead wireless earbud batteries.
