Ecoflow brings its Glacier Classic 3-in-1 cooler to Europe, starts at £699/€799

Following a launch in the US and Canada last month, EcoFlow has announced its Glacier Classic portable 3-in-1 cooler for the European market. The battery-powered cooler, which also doubles as a freezer, can preserve food and drinks for up to 43 hours. It can also be used to charge devices such as phones and laptops.

The EcoFlow Glacier Classic is available in 35L, 45L, and 55L sizes; regardless of the size, you get a cooler with 2-inch insulation foam, a compressor that uses 40% less power than standard refrigerators, an IPX4 rating, a 298Wh battery capacity, and 55W power rating.

Using the companion app, owners will be able to set the cooler to max mode for cooling items such as ice cream and meats or Eco mode for when trying to get as much battery life as possible when on long trips. There's also a temperature alert feature and support for viewing up to 7 days of temperature history.

However, only the 45L and 55L have dual temperature zones and a temperature zone divider, allowing users to set one section of the cooler to work as a chiller while the other section works as a freezer. For the 35L version, you can either set the cooler to work as a chiller or a freezer but not both simultaneously. All three sizes of the cooler have dual-sided door access and additional accessories such as a pegboard, a tray table, and a storage bag.

The Glacier Classic can be charged in a variety of ways. It supports charging via an AC outlet (at 95W), car power outlet (up to 100W), alternator (110W), solar panel (11-30V), or USB-C charging (100W). The USB-C port supports bidirectional charging (100W max output), so it can be used to power your gadgets such as smartphones, tablets, handhelds, and laptops.  

EcoFlow says the Glacier Classic cooler is available in the UK at a starting price of £699/€799 for the 35L version, £749/€849 for the 45L version, and £849/€949 for the 55L version. Owners will also be able to purchase an extra battery pack for £299/€299. EcoFlow will also provide a discount when you buy the cooler and battery pack together.

The 35L cooler is available to buy starting today on Amazon and on EcoFlow's online store while the 45L and 55L sizes will be available to pre-order. EcoFlow says customers who purchase any of the three models between May 29 and July 31 will receive a £100/€100 discount.
