The Dyson V16 Piston Animal cordless vacuum and the Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine wet and dry vacuum have been officially launched. The new model was spotted in various countries at the end of August 2025. More recently, the company announced its latest vacuums at an event in Berlin, and they have become available in more countries.
Dyson's V16 Piston Animal is powered by the company's new Hyperdymium 900W motor, generating up to 315AW suction power. It also features the brand's latest dual conical cleaner head, the All Floor Cones Sense, which is said to prevent hair from tangling and can intelligently adapt to different surfaces. The integrated LED light makes it easier to see dust and dirt on your floor, and the CleanCompaktor bin can hold up to 30 days' worth of debris thanks to its compressing function. The dustbin also has a wipe-clean emptying mechanism, marketed as more hygienic than older technology.
The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine comes with an extra attachment, the brand's Submarine 2.0 wet roller head. This microfiber roller mop is supplied with fresh water from the onboard 300 ml tank, which should allow you to clean an area measuring up to 1,180 ft² (~110 m²). Both versions of the V16 Piston Animal have an LCD screen showing information such as your current mode and the volume of dirt collected. Plus, it connects to the MyDyson smartphone app, through which users can access various settings and get maintenance reminders. It has a 70-minute maximum run time, with a full recharge taking 3.5 hours.
You can now buy the Dyson V16 Piston Animal cordless vacuum in the UK for £749.99. It is available more widely across Europe, retailing for €849.00 in countries like Spain and France. The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine wet and dry vacuum has also been released in Europe, priced at £899.99/€999.99. Both models will be released in the US at the start of 2026, though pricing for this market has yet to be confirmed.
