Dyson releasing new powerful V16 Piston Animal cordless vacuum cleaner globally

Dyson is rolling out the new V16 Piston Animal cordless vacuum cleaner in markets worldwide. Now available in countries across North America and Europe, the company describes the model as its “most powerful cordless anti-tangle vacuum cleaner”.

The V16 Piston Animal is equipped with Dyson’s Hyperdymium 900W motor, said to deliver up to 315 AW suction power. The latest version of the Floor Cones Sense cleaner head, which features two conical roller brushes, is said to prevent long hair from tangling. Plus, it can automatically adapt to different floor types, and the integrated light can illuminate ‘invisible’ dust. Another upgrade compared to older models is the compressed 1.3L dustbin, which the company indicates can hold up to 30 days of dust. The container features an integrated “wipe clean” mechanism to ensure all dust is emptied into your bin.

Accessories for the V16 Piston Animal include a long wand, a crevice tool, and the Hair Screw Tool 2.0 for pet beds, cars and stairs. An LCD screen shows the amount of dust and debris collected by the vacuum in real time, and you can view this data and control the vacuum’s settings in the MyDyson app. According to Dyson, it should run for up to 70 minutes on a single charge, fully recharging in 3.5 hours.

At the Dyson online store in European countries like Switzerland, Germany and Austria, the V16 Piston Animal cordless vacuum cleaner is available for €849/CHF 849. A version with a more advanced seven-piece cleaning kit is priced at €899/CHF 899. In Canada, the base model is available for $1,099.99 at the brand’s online store and at Best Buy. When this model will reach more countries like the US and the UK remains unclear.
