Dell: XPS 13 Convertible leaks shortly before CES 2017
This year, Dell is further expanding its XPS portfolio. The manufacturer is closing a opening in the lineup: While Lenovo (Yoga 910) and HP (Spectre x360) both offer premium 13" convertibles, Dell does not have such a device, so far at least.
This will now change, as Dell is going to announce a convertible version of the XPS 13. While not yet officially announced, the new models was leaked by Dell itself – the webpage of the XPS 13 Convertible was put online a little bit too early. Luckily for Dell, not specs were posted yet, so it didn´t ruin the whole surprise, but we have a picture of the device now.
In this picture, we see a convertible with a 360° hinge, Lenovo Yoga style. Typical for newer XPS models, the XPS 13 Convertible has very small display-bezels. This also means that just like with the normal XPS 13, the camera is placed beneath the screen. Other than that, there are not many visible details in the picture.
Next week, this years CES is taking place in Las Vegas, a fitting venue for such an announcement. Granted, this is speculation, so far, no announcement date for the Dell XPS 13 Convertible is known.
