Leaker Igor Bogdanov has shared hands-on photos showcasing the Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P, which are expected to replace the Osmo Mobile 6 (curr. $119.95 on Amazon) later this month. The publication of retail packaging by a typically reliable source reinforces this; seemingly, these images originate from a third-party retailer, not DJI directly.
The same images also appear to verify prior claims that DJI will advertise the Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P as offering up to 10 hours of battery life apiece. Reportedly, the camera gimbals will achieve these runtimes from 3,350 mAh batteries, which would be over a 50% improvement from the current Osmo Mobile 6.
Both Osmo Mobile 7 gimbals will offer 'one-tag' editing too, as well as DJI's 'easy tutorials' suite. Likewise, DJI will provide the pair with 3-axis stabilisation. The Osmo Mobile 7P will feature a few exclusives though, such as a built-in extension rod and superior tracking capabilities. Currently, DJI is believed to be lining up an official global release for the pair on February 18 at the following price points:
- DJI Osmo Mobile 7 - £85/$89/€99
- DJI Osmo Mobile 7P - £135/$149/€159
