Bluetti AC500 & B300S System announced with up to 1,567 hours of power
The Bluetti AC500 & B300S System has been announced. The power station can act as a home backup to be used in a power outage. Plus, the company suggests it could reduce your energy bills if you take advantage of an off-peak energy tariff. The portable device has a total AC output of 5,000 W and can handle surge power up to 10,000 W. The gadget has seven different types of ports, including AC, USB-A and USB-C.
The power station is modular; you can add extra B300S or B300 batteries to amplify the system’s capacity. With the full six battery expansion, the AC500 has an 18,432 Wh LiFePO4 battery for up to 1,567 hours of power, assuming you power a 10 W gadget. You can recharge the AC500+B300S to 80% in as little as one hour with a maximum input of 8,000 W. Charging methods for the device include a wall outlet, solar panel or car cigarette lighter.
You can view real-time information about the system through the Bluetti app, which you can also use to push OTA updates to the gadget. The device weighs 66.2 lbs (30 kg) and measures 20.5 × 12.8 × 14.1-in (520 × 325 × 358 mm). The power station has a three-year warranty and over ten years of service time, according to Bluetti. The Bluetti AC500 & B300S System is not currently on sale; the gadget will launch via an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign shortly. It is presently unclear how much the device will cost.
