Blackview R7 5.5-inch for just 169.99 USD

More and more chinese smartphone brands are coming to western markets, pushing hard on well known and established brands. Blackview is one of them, already offering a wide variety of different form-factors. The R7 is one of the latest phones from Blackview, coming with a large 5.5-inch display with FHD-resolution and Corniing Gorilla Glass 3. With a just 1.6 mm super narrow bezel, the R7 is smaller than many other 5.5-ich handsets, including the iPhone 6s plus. As it also got dedicated buttons, the full screen can be used for showing content but there will be no option to switch buttons according to your individual preferences what might be a little disadvantage for some users, especially with big-screen-phones.

The Blackview R7 is powered by a Mediatek Helio P10 MT6755 Octa-core processor with up to 2.0 Ghz and a Mali-T860 GPU. The system delivers 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of data storage capacity that can be expanded through a micoSD slot (dual SIM device, one slot for 2nd SIM or SDCard). The body is made of CNC aluminum and has a touch type fingerprint sensor for quick unlock on its back. The rear camera has 13.0 mega pixels (OV13853 sensor) and F2.0 aperature. The front facing camera supports 5.0 mega pixels.
The R7 supports 4G+ networks (FDD-LTE 1800/2100/2600/800/900) as well as 3G (WCDMA 900/2100) and 2G GSM (850/900/1800/1900), GPS, 802.11ac WiFi and comes with Android 6.0.
Blackview is promising 14 h runtime for calls, 6 h for playing games and 14 days standby, enabled by the 3000 mAh battery inside the phone. The R7 also supports quick charge (9 V, 2 A).
