Blackview MP100: AMD-powered mini PC with up to 64GB RAM launches in new configuration

Some tech enthusiasts may remember the Blackview MP100. It is a mini PC that is now available in a new model version with an AMD Ryzen 5 7430U, which is available on AliExpress for prices starting at €222. EU-based customers won’t have to deal with customs or additional import fees as the computer ships from France. However, in case of a defect, it might not be easy to enforce warranty claims. That being said, the new MP100 model is offered in two configurations. One comes with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, the other has twice as much storage and memory for €277.

With a footprint of 5 x 5 inches and a height of 1.8 inches, the mini PC is quite compact and can be mounted on a monitor via a VESA bracket. The built-in AMD Ryzen 5 7430U is not a high-end processor, but its six cores should certainly provide sufficient processing power for many everyday applications. A second SSD can be added after purchase, and the 3,200MHz DDR4 RAM can be upgraded to 64GB as well.

Network connections can be established via WiFi 6 and or Gigabit Ethernet. Furthermore, the Blackview MP100 can be used with multiple monitors at the same time thanks to HDMI and DisplayPort. The two USB Type-C ports have a bandwidth of 10Gbit/s but can also output a 4K 60Hz video signal. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports with the same bandwidth are also onboard, as is USB 2.0. Lastly, the MP100 mini PC has the usual 3.5mm headphone jack.
