Ayaneo has released plenty of products lately. However, it also has just as many that have been announced but are yet to receive an official launch. To recap, the company has just started selling the Pocket DS, which AYN Technologies quickly countered with the AYN Thor.
Now, Ayaneo has confirmed that it will showcase the progress of its dual-screen Android software tomorrow during a new Product Sharing Session. For context, the company is not due to begin shipping Pocket DS devices to Indiegogo backers until October.
As the embedded tweet below also shows, Ayaneo will be using the same event to highlight its AM01S mini-PC once again. Apparently, August 29 will mark the date when Ayaneo opens pre-orders too, having initially presented the AM01S in May 2024. Pricing and full availability remain unknown for the time being, though.
The AM01S will be Ayaneo's first mini-PC with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chipset. In other words, it will be more powerful than the AM02 that has been available for some time (curr. $599 on Amazon). The new post highlights that the AM01S' port selection remains the same from its previous teasers. As far as we can tell, the AM01S now features the following I/O:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 2x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x DC-in
- 2x HDMI
- 2x USB4
- 6x USB Type-A
