Infinix has introduced the GT 30 Pro, a new mid-range smartphone that fully embraces its gaming aesthetic. For instance, the RGB lighting on the rear is pretty eye-catching, and Infinix even offers a magnetic clip-on fan called the "MagCharge Cooler", which is said to cool the SoC more efficiently. The fan can also wirelessly charge the smartphone when connected via USB-C.
Additionally, the 5,500mAh battery should provide enough power for long gaming sessions. Charging options include USB-C at up to 45 watts or wireless charging at up to 30 watts. The flat frame features two touch-sensitive shoulder buttons, while the 6.78-inch AMOLED display and its 144Hz refresh rate should be well-suited for gaming as well. The panel also has a 1080p+ resolution and HDR peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Meanwhile, PWM dimming uses a high frequency of 2,160Hz, which supposedly prevents visible flickering. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen from scratches.
Moreover, the fingerprint sensor is seamlessly integrated into the display, and the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra is expected to offer decent gaming performance in this new mid-range smartphone. The Infinix GT 30 Pro further features a 13MP selfie camera, 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. It’s IP64 certified and protected against dust and splashes, but not fully waterproof. The smartphone ships with the Android 15-based XOS 15 and will receive two major Android updates and three years of security patches.
