Lenovo has launched the 2024 ThinkBook 14 in China. As a successor to the 2023 model, the new laptop brings the latest Intel Meteor Lake CPUs and a better display. Also, thanks to the Intel Arc graphics of the new Core Ultra processors, it’s now more capable of handling graphical workloads.

The 2024 Lenovo ThinkBook 14 has officially landed in the Chinese market. One of the key upgrades from the predecessor is the new Intel Meteor Lake processors. More specifically, there are two CPU options for the laptop: Intel Core Ultra 5 125H and Core Ultra 7 155H.

Lenovo says that both configurations of the 2024 ThinkBook 14 can offer around 40 watts of performance. This suggests that the laptop has what it takes to handle demanding workloads smoothly. Also, they both equip 16 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600 MHz and a 1 TB PCIe 4 SSD (WD_BLACK SN850X curr. $84.99 on Amazon).

Another upgrade from the predecessor is the display. The new ThinkBook 14 features a 14-inch 2.8K display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, 100% sRGB coverage, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. To compare, the 2023 Chinese variant maxed out at 2.2K resolution.

Other aspects of the 2024 Lenovo ThinkBook 14 are more or less the same as the predecessor. That means the new laptop still has a slim and light chassis, which comes with a generous number of ports, including a Thunderbolt 4. Also, it has the same 60 Whr battery as the 2023 Chinese variant.

Moreover, the 2024 ThinkBook 14 still addresses durability concerns with a MIL-STD-810H certification. Other highlights include a 1080p FHD camera with ThinkShutter for privacy, a 180-degree hinge, and TÜV Rheinland display certifications.

As for the price, the Core Ultra 5 variant currently has an introductory price of CNY5099 (around $708), while the Core Ultra 7 laptop is currently CNY5999 (around $833). Check the images attached below to learn more about the laptop.
