Deal | 1 TB MSI SPATIUM M461 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD gets 36% discount on Amazon
Introduced at the end of 2022, the MSI SPATIUM M461 is a mainstream NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD that targets multiple categories of users, from home office workers to gamers. The 1 TB version that carries the model number S78-440L1D0-P83 is a straightforward upgrade solution for both desktops and laptop computers stuck with mechanical hard drives or older SSDs in need of a faster, more reliable storage solution. Previously priced at US$69.99 on Amazon, this piece of hardware is now down to only US$44.99 thanks to a generous 36% discount.
This SSD uses the M.2 2280 form factor and the PCIe Gen4x4 interface. It is compliant with the NVMe 1.4 standard and provides sequential read/write speeds up to 5,000/3,200 MB/s. Its list of specs and features also includes built-in error correction, encryption, and data security. The MTBF value is 1,500,000 hours and the standard warranty is 5 years (or the aforementioned TBW value, whichever comes first).
This deal includes the SSD alone, without any additional discounts or promo offerings. For the time being, those who need more storage can also take advantage of a small 9% discount for the 4 TB MSI SPATIUM M461, which can be acquired for US$209.99 instead of US$229.99. However, given the attractive ongoing deals for 4 TB SSDs from other brands, it would be a good idea to wait for a higher discount for the top-of-the-line M461.
