Introduced at CES 2017, JBL Flip 4 has been around for longer than most of its competitors, but still has a few attributes that keep it interesting. This Bluetooth speaker is IPX7 waterproof, so taking it in wet and/or dusty environments is not a problem, since it can even spend up to 30 minutes in up to a meter of water. According to this review, while JBL Connect+ is a great idea, this speaker is not compatible with its non-plus Connect siblings.

The advertised battery life of 12 hours goes down to only 4 hours on maximum volume according to the aforementioned review, so buying two or three and connecting them while using a lower volume value could be a better idea that would achieve about the same result (and a surround sound experience on top of it).
