AMD Radeon 520: Entry level graphics card with 320 shaders (5 compute units), 2 GB GDDR5 and a 64 Bit memory bus. Uses the same chip as the old Radeon R7 M230, M340, M440 and e.g. Radeon R7 M445 (28nm GCN).

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

A9-9420: Entry-level APU from AMD's 2016 Stoney Ridge lineup. Integrates 2 CPU cores, a single-channel DDR4-2133 memory controller as well as a Radeon GPU with 192 shader units at a TDP of 15 Watts (configurable between 10-25 Watts). There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.

The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
