Buzz acquires Slidejoy
This acquisition allows Buzzvil to deliver 4 billion ad impressions each month, but also "to diversify its geographic footprint while bringing on a world-class team" at the same time.

South Korean company Buzzvil is currently involved in delivering ads to Android users via their lock screens. The company offers its users rewards, both via its BuzzScreen platform for publishers and  the HoneyScreen consumer app. They have just acquired Slidejoy, a New York City startup that only offers rewards for users who allow ads on their lock screens and nothing more.

Buzzvil will soon name Slidejoy co-founder and CEO Robert Seo as CEO of its US-based subsidiary, thus improving its presence in the area. According to the same Robert Seo, "With our combined scale and geographic reach, we are now positioned to propel lockscreen advertising forward and shape the mobile advertising landscape worldwide."

While Seo unveiled that the transaaction involves both cash and stock, he did not offer any other details about this part. He also added that the resulting company can deliver over than 4  billion ad impressions monthly. All that remains it for Buzzvil to live up to these expectations.
