Xiaomi has recently announced its latest addition to the family, the Redmi K30 Ultra. The phone was first unveiled at the company’s 10th anniversary event, alongside the Mi 10 Ultra and a transparent TV. In contrast to the rest of the Redmi K30 series, Xiaomi has equipped the K30 Ultra with MediaTek’s flagship processor. After the iQoo Z1 in China, Redmi has now opted for the Dimensity 1000 Plus chipset. The processor has eight cores and a max clock speed of 2.6 GHz. It should also be noted that it supports 5G with carrier aggregation and the proprietary MediaTek 5G UltraSave power-saving technology. Apart from that, the chipset also incorporates HyperEngine 2.0 technology that optimizes the smartphone to provide a fluid and immersive gaming experience. In addition, it supports dual-mode 5G (SA and NSA). While it is undeniable that the Dimensity 1000+ cannot quite keep up with the Snapdragon 865 of the Mi 10 Ultra, it competes adequately with last year's Snapdragon 855. There should be no doubt that it is a premium SoC.
As far as the display is concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Ultra has been equipped with a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ Samsung AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is definitely a great effort compared to phones with the standard 60Hz refresh rate at a similar price point. This model comes in three variants with up to 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. There is also a vapour chamber that is said to be capable of reducing the temperature by up to 10 degrees. In terms of its camera setup, this phone features a quad-camera array that includes a main 64MP Sony sensor, a 13MP 119-degree wide-angle lens, a 5MP telephoto lens, and a portrait lens. Apart from the ones mentioned above, there is also a pop-up camera with a 20MP snapper at the front of the device. As for the battery, the device is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support over the Type-C interface. It also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ and Power Delivery protocol. As for the GPU, the phone has been equipped with an ARM Mali-G77 MC9.
In addition, the phone comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and it is scratch resistant as well. There is also a dual super-linear stereo speaker making up the audio system. However, it is worth noting that the 3.5mm headphone jack has been removed from this smartphone, which is definitely a frustration for all wired-headphone lovers out there. In terms of colour variations, the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Ultra is available in three colours, namely black, mint green and white, so users can choose based on their preference. Overall, this is definitely a great phone to be explored, depending on the individual needs and preferences of the users.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
