The verdict is simple. You can't buy a better flip phone at this price that offers the same amount of features. The Infinix Zero Flip provides a large, mostly usable cover screen, good cameras, a large battery that easily lasts a day, and decent performance. If you don't mind the trade-offs, the Zero Flip is an affordable flex. The closest competitor is the Motorola Razr 50 (Review), which is slightly more expensive, has a smaller battery, a less powerful chipset, and similar camera performance.

A foldable on a budget is bound to come with some compromises, but weighing the pros and cons of the Zero Flip, we'd say Infinix did a fine balancing act. The greatest offense is probably on the software front where Android 14 and two OS upgrades doesn't paint a rosy long-term future for the Zero Flip. The lack of eSIM support may not be a dealbreaker, some more careful wiping can help keep the display clean, and water resistance is perhaps not to be expected from every foldable. The dependable photo performance from all cameras, with selfies being particularly great, makes the Zero Flip an unlikely favorite in the clamshell segment when it comes to picturetaking, and video capture isn't too bad either.

With its stylish design, decent cameras, vibrant displays, and impressive gaming performance, it’s a great choice for anyone looking for their first flip phone. While it may not have the premium features of pricier competitors, its affordability makes it a compelling option.

So, overall if you ask me how my experience using a cheap flip phone was, I would say — not bad! To match the price point, Infinix has definitely made compromises. Like there’s no IP rating, you are getting a pretty average processor, an inferior videography department, and the software commitment is kinda weak. But the phone is available for a much more affordable price too. So, if you are someone who is fascinated by flip phones and their form factor. But don’t want to spend a hefty price, it’s actually not a bad idea to get the Infinix Zero Flip.

The Infinix Zero Flip is a decent foldable phone considering its price point. Infinix’s goal was to bring a decent foldable phone to the masses at a budget price tag since all other foldable phones launched at higher prices. Infinix knew how hard it would be to sell an overpriced foldable phone in markets like Asia, Africa, Latin America, and others, so the company decided to play on its strength, which is delivering a value-for-money device. For the price you pay, you get a premium experience in every aspect of the phone, whether that’s the design, display, processor, camera, battery or even charging. It doesn’t have the flagship chipset but has quality chipset and components, and you will find nothing major to complain about.

The Infinix Zero Flip launched in India at a price of Rs 49,999, but with discount offers it can go as low as Rs 45,999. The pricing is the most attractive thing about the phone. It also impresses with its battery, camera, and the functionality of its cover display. However, the phone isn’t without flaws, but most of them aren’t even deal breakers.

The Infinix Zero Flip, the company's first clamshell foldable phone, has finally launched in India. While Infinix is known for its mid-range and budget smartphones, the new Zero Flip changes things by entering a new price bracket. In India, the phone is available for Rs. 49,999, making it the most expensive phone by Infinix. However, you get a lot for that money compared to the other flip phones available in the market. I used the phone for a few hours, and below are my first impressions. Infinix Zero Flip is available in a lone 8GB RAM + 512GB variant and two colour options. We've got the Rock Black variant with us for review. There's also a Blossom Glow option, which is basically a peach colour.

In conclusion, how do I feel about the Infinix Zero Flip? To be honest, there are very few options under the ₹50,000 price bracket that offer such a good experience. If you're looking to try a flip-style foldable for the first time, the Infinix Zero Flip is an excellent opportunity. Infinix hasn't cut corners with this product at this price point, except perhaps in processing power. Overall, it delivers a balanced experience. The branding is minimal, the design is sleek and premium, the display is excellent, and the software is fluid. The additions to the cover screen, including the cute pets, certainly add a fun functionality. All in all, I'd highly recommend the Infinix Zero Flip to anyone interested in trying a flip-style foldable, especially at the effective price of ₹45,000. It's a great way to see if this form factor suits you, and it certainly gets my recommendation.
