Deal | Xbox Series X 1TB gets a big price cut for a limited time

Microsoft increased the prices of its Xbox Series X/S consoles back in August, making it significantly more expensive to pick up some models. The Xbox Series X 1TB All-Digital Edition was among those affected, with its price increasing to $749.99. Microsoft blamed the ongoing memory crisis for the increase, an issue that has also pushed several other companies to raise the prices of their products.

However, if you've been waiting for a better time to pick up the console, we've got some good news for you. Walmart is currently offering the Xbox Series X 1TB All-Digital Edition in Robot White for $599.99. The same model was previously listed for $748, meaning the ongoing deal can help you save around $148.

It is, however, important to keep in mind that this is the All-Digital Edition, so it does not include a disc drive. You'll need to download your games digitally rather than buying or using physical Xbox discs. On top of that, unlike Sony, Microsoft does not offer a separate disc drive that can be attached to the console later. So, if you want physical game support, you’ll need to opt for the Xbox Series X model with a built-in disc drive, which is listed at its regular $798 MSRP.

That said, Walmart hasn't revealed when the $599.99 deal will end, so there's no clear expiration date at the moment. However, considering how good the discount is, it can sell out quickly.
