Twitter app debuts on Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet

A recent announcement by Twitter informs about the update for its iPhone and Android applications. The updated application has also been optimized for the Kindle Fire and Nook devices.

From the announcement it has been made clear to the consumers that the new updated version of Twitter application is being optimized for the Ice Cream Sandwich or Android 4.0. Along with that they are also optimized for the latest Kindle Fires which are now available on the Amazon Appstore and the Barnes & Noble NOOK color and NOOK Tablet which are also made available through the Barnes & Noble NOOK Store.

This update allows the users to swipe a tweet from one’s home timeline for to reply, retweet, favorite or share it. The users will also be able to view the Twitter user’s profile without having to leave their own timeline. Another new tool which allows the users to find friends has also been included.
