BitCraft Online is an upcoming sandbox MMORPG set in a vast, open world that players can reshape entirely. From redirecting rivers and leveling mountains to building cities, the terraforming system promises near-limitless possibilities. Unlike traditional MMOs, BitCraft won’t have separate servers, everyone will share a single, persistent world.
Character development in BitCraft revolves around 12 professions, each with 10 progression levels, allowing players to specialize in crafting, trading or survival. Unlike many MMORPGs, combat isn’t the focus. Instead, survival elements like food gathering, dynamic weather and dangerous wildlife create additional challenges. The game also features a deep crafting system and a player-driven economy. Visually, BitCraft adopts a stylized, comic-inspired aesthetic reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Early Access starts at the end of May
Developer Clockwork Laboratories first announced BitCraft Online in September 2021. Nearly four years later, the sandbox MMO is finally heading into Early Access on May 29, 2025, with an entry price of $30. The full release date remains unknown, but the game will eventually be free to play. In the meantime, players can already add BitCraft to their Steam wishlist.
