Reviews for the Toshiba Satellite L350-153
Big display at a great price. The price of a notebook is the most important aspect for most customers. Nearly all manufacturers are responsive to this trend and also offer a number of low price models. Toshiba has already offered its Satellite L-series, which consists of very reasonable beginner's office notebooks, for a long time. The Satellite L350, which is equipped with a big 17 inch display and Intel's Dual-Core technology, is available at a great price.

Archive.org versionEntry-level desktop-replacement laptops are almost as popular as netbooks in many online stores' bestseller lists. The appeal of models like those in Toshiba's Satellite L350 series lies in their size. Big screens and keyboards make them no less usable than a desktop PC, but they can still be carried around and hidden away when not in use. If you lack the space for a cheap desktop PC, the Toshiba Satellite L350-17P is a capable alternative with precious few compromises when it comes to usability. The only real weak spot is the under-powered 3D graphics chip, but, since that's only an issue for 3D games, it won't matter to everyone.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100 is an integrated (onboard) graphic chip on a Mobile Intel 965GM chipset. It is the successor of GMA 950 and features a fully programmable pipeline (supports Aero Glass fully and DirectX 10 with newest drivers). The peformance of the X3100 is clearly better than the GMA 950, still demanding modern games won't run fluently.
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

Intel Pentium Dual Core: The return of the name Pentium, though it is a Yonah core. In fact, it is a double Core processor with a very good relation of performance to current consumption.
T2390: Entry level dual-core processor based on the Merom core (and therefore with 64 Bit support). » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
