Deal | This 37-inch Samsung ViewFinity S8 4K monitor is now $250 cheaper on Amazon, but not for long

We have covered a lot of monitor deals in the past weeks, the majority of which are intended for gaming use. Needless to say, non-gamers also need well-equipped monitors to get their jobs done, and the 37-inch Samsung ViewFinity S8 is a very decent option for such folks who are on a budget.
Currently available for just $350 on Amazon, the ViewFinity S8 is enjoying a massive 42% discount on the platform off its MSRP of $599. Sold directly by Amazon, interested folks can take advantage of this deal without having to worry about anything unsavory, since the product is fulfilled by Amazon with a respectable return and refund policy.
High-res 37-inch 4K VA panel with acceptable color performance
The 37-inch panel sports a resolution of 3840 x 2160, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. While gamers will likely puke at the lack of high-refresh rate capability, it is much less of an issue for office use. According to IT Pro's review, the VA panel manages to cover nearly the entire sRGB color gamut, but manages only around 84% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Moreover, color accuracy is far from the best, although the monitor does boast a roughly 3000:1 contrast ratio which is definitely superior to typical IPS panels. For day-to-day usage where color accuracy isn't critical, the S8's performance is more than adequate. Brightness peaks at around 400 nits, and viewing angles were also perfectly admirable according to IT Pro.
Other features of the Samsung ViewFinity 4K S8 monitor include a built-in KVM switch, USB-C port with 90W power delivery, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, triple USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and Ethernet. The provided stand also allows for multiple ergonomic adjustments, including height, swivel, and tilt.
