The mid-range LG Q Stylus phablet now official, coming later this month
Those who were expecting to see the LG Q Note can finally celebrate, because the LG Q Stylus is now official and — although it is not exactly a top-of-the-line device — it provides exactly what many users have been waiting for, namely "a handwriting input smartphone without the premium price" with a generous display and mid-range performance.
Depending on the market, the following configurations will be available:
- LG Q Stylus: 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 8 MP or 5 MP front, 16 MP back, Aurora Black/Moroccan Blue
- LG Q Stylus+: 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, 8 MP or 5 MP front, 16 MP back, Aurora Black/Moroccan Blue/Lavender Violet
- LG Q Stylus Alpha: 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 5 MP front, 13 MP back, Moroccan Blue
The list of common specs and features includes a 6.2-inch display with 2,160 x 1,080 pixels, Android 8.1 Oreo, a 3,300 mAh battery with fast charging support, a 1.5 GHz or 1.8 GHz octa-core processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C connectivity, MIL-STD 810G and IP68 rating for protection from various hazards, and more.
The price and launch date depends on the market, but the LG Q Stylus is scheduled to debut later this month in North America and Asia. Other regions will be added to the list in the third quarter.
