The leaky faucet that is Motorola's marketing department: More Moto Z4 press renders appear online
Information about and renders of the Motorola Moto Z4 have been steadily appearing online for months. Now, the renowned tipster Evan Blass has posted a full press render of the device, which affirms some of its previously speculated about features.
The renders, which build on the ones that we have already reported on, show that Motorola will equip the Z4 with a USB Type-C port along with dual-microphones and a mono speaker. Oddly, the latter is on the top edge of the device rather than the bottom as it is with most smartphones. There is a headphone jack though, which is something that OEMs have been phasing out of their flagship smartphones for the last 18 months. Motorola is sticking with its Moto mods too, which will communicate with the Z4 via its large strip of gold contact pads.
According to a information disclosed by 91Mobiles, the Z4 will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC along with a single 48 MP rear-facing camera, which we expect will be the Sony IMX586. OEMs have been using the IMX586 in flagships like the Honor View 20, Mi 9 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The Z4 will reportedly have a 25 MP front-facing camera too and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The Moto Z4 is not to be confused with the Z4 Play, which is the midrange version of its flagship sibling. Both devices should be unveiled in the next few months at the latest.
