The cryptocurrency market is now worth more than Apple

The crypto market has hit an all-time high thanks to Bitcoin’s latest price hike. Bitcoin has amassed big gains since the start of October, as the currency has gained more than 30% in the last two weeks. Altcoins like Cardano (ADA) and Ethereum (ETH) have also gained big this week, contributing to the crypto market’s newest price rally. This development has resulted in the crypto market becoming more valuable than Apple, the world’s most valuable company.

The current market cap of crypto stands at $2.37 trillion (€2.045 trillion) compared to Apple’s market value of $2.33 trillion (€2.01 trillion). This trend of the cryptocurrency market gaining more and more ground is likely to continue as Bitcoin is predicted to break the six-figure barrier by the end of this year.

Moreover, crypto analyst Simon Peters has noted that Bitcoin’s price action is similar to what we saw in 2013 when the currency jumped from less than $100 to more than $1000 within a few months.
