The Rock Pi 4 Model C is now orderable from another retailer

The Rock Pi 4 Model C is now available to order from Seeedstudio. Previously, the board had been available to order from other retailers like AllNetChina, AliExpress and Amazon, although at vastly different prices. Thankfully, Seeedstudio is offering the Rock Pi 4 Model C at US$59.00, which is the same price as AllNetChina charges for the single-board computer (SBC). By contrast, AliExpress and Amazon have priced the device at US$99.99 and US$109.99, which is a significantly less attractive proposition.

The Rock Pi 4 Model C is only available with 4 GB of RAM. The LPPDR4 RAM has been paired with a Rockchip RK3399 SoC that integrates six processor cores and a quad-core ARM Mali-T860 MP4 GPU. The Radxa SBC can run multiple Android and Linux distributions, which it can run an eMMC module, a microSD card or an M.2 NVMe SSD.

The SBC also supports up to Bluetooth 5.0 and 802.11 ac Wi-Fi via an onboard antenna. Radxa has integrated a micro HDMI 2.0 port, a mini DisplayPort, a MIPI DSI connector and a 3.5 mm headphone jack with a microphone input. Additionally, there are three USB HOST ports, one USB OTG port and a 40-pin expansion header for UART, SPI, I2C, PCM/I2S and GPIO, among other connections. The 85 x 54 mm board is now shipping now from Seeedstudio's Chinese warehouse.
