Amazon has dropped the price of the Technics EAH-AZ100 to its lowest price ever of $222.99 in black, champagne, or silver, with the blue model $2 more. The earbuds are designed to reproduce music powerfully, but with minimal coloration in order to bring out the essence of audio recordings. Advanced active noise cancellation using six microphones helps block out surrounding noise to allow listeners to fully enjoy high-resolution music.
The true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds utilize 10 mm (3/8 in.) magnetic fluid drivers incorporating aluminum diaphragms with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 40 kHz. The extended frequency range supports the reproduction of Hi-Res Audio when using the LDAC audio codec (up to 96 kHz at 990 kbps), allowing uncompressed FLAC and WAV sources to shine. An acoustic control chamber, a sound harmonizer, and Dolby Head Tracking with Dolby Atmos help create a wide 360-degree soundstage with low distortion, according to Technics.
The EAH-AZ100 supports multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 connections with up to three devices at once, such as a laptop, phone, and tablet. Voices can be clearly heard during calls thanks to Voice Focus AI technology, which separates voices from background noise.
Although the Apple AirPods Pro 3 and Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) earbuds have even better noise reduction, the Technics EAH-AZ100 boasts better audio reproduction accuracy, according to Rtings.
