Teaser images show the unusual design of the Nothing CMF Phone 1, leakers reveal powerful specs
Nothing has published teaser images (embedded below) on social network X and officially confirmed on its CMF by Nothing website that the CMF Phone 1 will be launched "soon". The images show a variant in matte black and another in orange with a leather texture. Nothing appears to have installed a rotary control in the bottom right corner of the back, the function of which is unknown.
On the left there is the so-called "Nothing Lock", through which accessories such as a wrist strap can be attached. According to rumors, the Nothing CMF Phone 1 will be launched in July at prices below $300. According to leakers @realMlgmXyysd and @Technerd_9, the smartphone will have a very strong price-performance ratio, as it is said to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200, a 4 nm ARM chip that has two ARM Cortex-A715 performance cores with clock frequencies of up to 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A510 efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz.
Despite its low price, the smartphone is said to have a 120 Hz 6.67-inch OLED display, 8 GB of LPDDR4X 2133 RAM and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 watt fast charging via USB-C. The device reportedly has a 16 MP selfie camera, a 50 MP main camera, 128 GB to 256 GB of flash storage and a plastic back that can be replaced by the user. The smartphone will reportedly be available in black, green, blue and orange, although orange will only available in selected markets.
