Open-world survival against terrifying mutants
Players in the game will be tasked with the role of finding a missing billionaire, following a helicopter crash. Sons Of The Forest packs intense survival action set in an open-world map, requiring players to gather resources, collect weapons such as pistols and axes, and shelter themselves while having to face off with horrendous mutants along with other hostile creatures.
A co-op mode is also present, allowing up to eight players to share resources, build and fight against adversaries together, and explore above-ground forests as well as intricate underground cave systems - all while managing thirst, hunger, and rest. Those fond of compelling lore will find themselves perfectly satisfied with what the game has to offer, uncovering conspiracies and awful experiments while fighting for survival.

IGN's review of the game is overwhelmingly positive, with the publication granting the title an excellent score of 9 out of 10.
