Hunkered down in quarantine and running out of things to do? You may want to check out the Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition, which starts today at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.
The festival offers 40 demos of new and unreleased games, all available for free through Steam. While Steam ran a similar promotion over the winter, the Spring Edition packs in significantly more demos. The increase in available demos is due primarily to the cancellation of GDC, which was called off due to the fears over the coronavirus epidemic.
The Festival kicks off today and will run through Monday, March 23. During that time, you will be able to download and play any of the 40+ demos available through the festival. More details can be found over at Steam.

I've been a computer geek my entire life. After graduating college with a degree in Mathematics, I worked in finance and banking a few years before taking a job as a database administrator. I started working with Notebookcheck in October of 2016 and have enjoyed writing news and reviews. I've also written for other outlets including UltrabookReview and GeeksWorldWide, focusing on consumer guidance and video gaming. My areas of interest include the business side of technology, retro gaming, Linux, and innovative gadgets. When I'm not writing on electronics or tinkering with a device, I'm either outside with my family, enjoying a decade-old video game, or playing drums or piano.
