Once again, 2026 will kick off very early with new tech highlights at CES 2026, where Samsung will offer an early look at new products. This may possibly include the double-folding Galaxy TriFold.

This isn't the first time Samsung has hosted a First Look event in Las Vegas prior to the start of CES, which will take place on January 6 in 2026. Attendees will once again be able to preview new Samsung products just a few days after the New Year, as promised by an invitation sent out today for the First Look Launch Event on January 4, 2026. Of course, this is not the Galaxy Unpacked event of the Mobile eXperience division, which will probably take place a little later in the new year.

In recent years, the event has typically offered a comprehensive look at many other areas of the company, focusing primarily on display, TV and smart home technologies, including plenty of AI features. Aside from the keynote address, which will be delivered for the first time by new Device eXperience Division CEO TM Roh, there will likely be the usual opportunity for journalists to try out new Samsung products.

The First Look Event will also be streamed live on Samsung.com and the Samsung YouTube channel for anyone who is interested but unable to attend in person. You can also join in virtually on Samsung TV Plus. Even though this is not a Galaxy launch event, there is a good chance that Samsung will take the opportunity to present the Galaxy Z TriFold, which has just been unveiled in South Korea, to an international audience. After all, it is set to be launched outside South Korea in 2026, such as in the US or the UAE.
