Samsung joins invite party with event scheduled for May 28th

The past couple days have been busy ones with regards to media invites, with both Motorola and LG sending them out to members of the press. Nonetheless, Samsung is also joining the party, and they're hoping folks will be there on the 28th of May.

Scheduled just one day after LG's G3 event and a few days before Apple's WWDC (June 2nd-6th), the Samsung event plans on beginning "a new conversation around health". Taking place in San Francisco at 10:30AM, the invite doesn't provide much info about the specifics of this conversation, but a safe guess is that it'll revolve around the company's smartwear initiative.

Samsung already has a number of fitness oriented wearables, most popular of which is the Gear Fit and its personalized fitness manager. Furthermore, the Galaxy S5 was already revealed back in February and released last month, but we'll have to see whether it still manages to find its way on stage on the 28th.
