Samsung announces Galaxy S4 MiniPlus
Samsung has quietly announced the Galaxy S4 Mini Plus and, in select markets, will be renamed to the Galaxy S4 Mini Value Edition.
While the design of the new smartphone is reminiscent of the standard Galaxy S4, the S4 Mini Plus will have altered specifications:
- Display: 4.3-inch AMOLED
- Resolution: 960 x 540 pixels
- CPU: Snapdragon 410 SoC
- GPU: Adreno 306
- RAM: 1.5 GB
- Camera: 8 MP rear
- Battery: 1900 mAh
- Connectivity: WiFi, GPS, NFC, 4G LTE
Its AMOLED panel should provide deep contrast for an otherwise small and low resolution display. The device will run Android 4.4 KitKat and is now available in most European countries for about 190 Euros despite the suggested retail price of 239 Euros.
