Samsung Pay gets updated in the US once again
At the end of last month, Samsung Pay launched on the Chinese market and, the following day, it received support for 16 banks and credit unions in the US. Now, Samsung pushes things forward and updates its mobile payments service in the US once again, but adds support for even more banks and credit unions - no less than 20, to be accurate.
Starting yesterday, Samsung Pay can also be used by customers of 20 additional banks and credit unions across the US. The entire list contains the following brands: A+ Federal Credit Union, Amalgamated Bank of Chicago, American 1 Credit Union, Ballston Spa National Bank, Congressional Federal Credit Union, Consumers Credit Union, First National Bank of Durango, Greenville Federal Credit Union, Heritage Federal Credit Union, Ideal Credit Union, Island Federal Credit Union, KeyPoint Credit Union, IBM Southeast Employees Credit Union, Metro Credit Union, NIH Federal Credit Union, North Country Community Credit Union, Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union, RBCU, Robins Financial Credit Union, Schools Financial Credit Union, Velocity Credit Union.
Samsung has recently added support for Regions Bank and TD Bank as well. With a higher growth rate than Apple Pay, Samsung Pay seems to have a bright future ahead. After this last update, the service works with no less than 139 Visa and MasterCard issuers. Same as before, the entire list of compatible cards can be found on Samsung's website.
