MWC 2017 | Samsung Galaxy S8 migh launch in February 2017

Samsung Galaxy S8 might launch during Galaxy Unpacked 2017 in February

What appears like a leaked image of a future Galaxy Unpacked event suggests that this next-gen flagship is scheduled to show up at MWC 2017.

The Galaxy Note 7 will probably remain Samsung's greatest fail for a very long time, even if they finally manage to get it right the third time. Unfortunately, the next-gen flagship is probably not coming faster, no matter what will happen with the ill-fated Note 7. However, a Twitter user who previously leaked the accurate launch date of the Galaxy S7 is now back with information about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8.

Ricciolo has just revealed an image on Twitter that shows what appears to be an invitation to the next Galaxy Unpacked event. The text that accompanies the image is quite cryptic - "Despite #Note7 #disaster,(ATM) i have been confirmed ,no early announcement...#GalaxyS8 SEe you 2+6 ;) Feb at 7PM #samsung #BeCareful !"

The location is Barcelona, and since the date is February 27, one thing is certain - Samsung will unveil the devices that will be shown to the public for the first time during MWC 2017 a few days later. Next year's Mobile World Congress will open its gates to the public on March 1st.
