Samsung Galaxy S26 FE leaks in promo images with new ARM chip and 7 Android updates

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is said to be officially unveiled on September 1. A recent leak has revealed the key technical specifications of this premium mid-range smartphone, which is expected to be offered either with 128 GB of storage for €799, with 256 GB of storage for €899, or as a 512 GB version for €1,099.
Android Headlines has now published numerous promotional images showing the Galaxy S26 Fan Edition in detail. As expected, the smartphone will be available in green, blue, or black. The frame is made of aluminum, and the display is protected from scratches by Gorilla Glass Victus+. So far, everything remains the same. This also applies to the cameras, as Samsung is equipping the device with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-MP ultra-wide-angle camera, an 8-MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom, and a 12-MP selfie camera.
The promotional images confirm what is likely the only significant update to the Galaxy S26 FE, as Samsung is replacing the Samsung Exynos 2400 with the newer Samsung Exynos 2500. The chip features an ARM Cortex-X925 prime core with boost clock speeds of up to 3.3 GHz, a total of seven Cortex-A725 performance cores, and two Cortex-A520 efficiency cores. Thanks to the new chip, the Galaxy S26 FE offers about 24 percent better performance than the Galaxy S25 FE ($649 on Amazon).
As usual, Samsung has included a 4,900 mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C at up to 45 watts. The promotional images highlight a 6.7-inch, 120 Hz AMOLED display, as well as seven major operating system updates and seven years of security patches. The IP68-certified body is said to be 7.4 millimeters thick and weigh 193 grams.
