Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will allegedly come in two models, not three as previously rumored
Until now, we knew that Samsung is set to launch three Galaxy Note 20 models, namely the regular one, the Plus, and the Ultra. Now, it seems that we will only get to see two models — Note 20 and Note 20 Plus — if popular Chinese leakster Ice Universe turns out to be accurate once again.
In a recent post on Chinese social network Weibo, Ice Universe revealed that the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Plus specs are still unknown and that only these two will be launched, so there's no Ultra model in the cards. Previously, he said that the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Plus will have the same internal specs, the only difference being the size (and prize, of course, the Note 20 Plus obviously being the larger and more expensive one).
According to a recent leak, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 will both use the same processor as the Galaxy S20 series — the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus. Since the launch date of the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 is still uncertain due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the poor sales of the Galaxy S20 lineup, all the above should be taken with a grain of salt for now — maybe Samsung will launch three Galaxy Note 20 models, after all.
