The Samsung Galaxy M34 seems to have all the necessary hardware inside the smartphone, including a better display, optimum processor, decent camera, and epic battery life. On top of that, Samsung promises four years of Android updates, which adds tremendous value to the smartphone. If you are someone who prioritizes budget 5G smartphone with huge battery then the Samsung Galaxy M34 is the smartphone to buy. But if you are a heavy gamer and play a lot of games on your smartphone, or maybe you need water resistance then you might want to look for an alternative option. If you are looking for an alternative option, you can configure the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12R smartphone that comes with better specifications and the same price range. In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy M34 has a decent price tag and it is justifiable considering the specs it is offering.

The Samsung Galaxy M34 does a lot of things right for its price. It's fast, the battery lasts a long time, and the main camera takes good photos for your social media and other basic needs. It's priced at less than Rs. 20,000 for the base version, which means you get a lot for your money. The battery life is excellent, so if that's your top priority, you can buy it without worry. But, there are some downsides to consider. The shiny back of the phone easily gets smudged and even scratched. The main and wide-angle cameras could have been better in terms of picture quality. There are also some apps you might not need that come pre-installed, and the teardrop notch looks a bit old-fashioned. If you don't mind purchasing a charger, or let us say, if you don't use a charger at all, the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G is a great choice to go for. However, if these things bother you, there are other options like the Motorola G84 5G and the Realme 11x 5G that you might want to consider.

We have no hesitation in calling the Galaxy M34 one of the best-performing smartphones we have used for under Rs 20,000. There are other phones in the same price range as the Samsung Galaxy M34, but in terms of overall performance, the M34 trumps them all. It scores highly on four key parameters that most users value at this price point, particularly- the brilliant display, the main camera with OIS, the massive battery, and the powerful-for-its-price processor. We would ideally have liked a more eye-catching design and a charger in the box, but those are hardly deal breakers, given the level of performance the Samsung Galaxy M34 delivers. Pretty much THE phone to get for under Rs 20,000 if you are looking for performance-centric smartphone.

The answer to this question is quite simple. The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G is a decent mid-range smartphone that checks almost all the boxes. It has a bright and vibrant display with a decent camera and chipset that is capable of taking care of most of your day-to-day needs with ease. Sure, the front-facing camera offers an average performance, the battery takes forever to charge and there is no charger in the box, but if you can look past those shortcomings, the Galaxy M34 5G is a value-for-money proposition to the buyers.

Priced below ₹20,000, the Samsung Galaxy M34 offers great bang for your buck and stands strong in the face of competition. Its battery life is near unparalleled, and if that is your primary concern when buying a smartphone, don’t hesitate to buy it. There are a few misses though – the dynamic range of the primary and ultrawide lens could be better, there’s no HDR support on the display, there’s plenty of preinstalled bloatware, and the teardrop notch looks extremely dated at this price in 2023.

The latest to join the Samsung family is none other than the Samsung Galaxy M34. As far as its design is concerned, this device features a polycarbonate chassis and a polycarbonate back with glass finish. In addition, it has curved edges and a flat-screen design that looks like a page from last year’s Galaxy M33 5G smartphone. Well, beyond the looks, the Galaxy M34 5G is quite comfortable to use. While it is not light as a feather, it is not exactly heavy either, which makes it easier to use even when holding it for prolonged duration during a long call. Despite its material, the back of the phone does not actively attract dust and fingerprints. In terms of its display, this model has been incorporated with a super AMOLED glass display that is protected by Corning Gorilla 5 protection which is a technology that Samsung uses in its premium smartphones. Overall, the Galaxy M34 offers quite a comfortable viewing experience even under the bright sun as the colours are bright and vibrant with just the right amount of contrast. Furthermore, the screen is smart enough to quickly adjust to the ambient lighting levels.
As for its camera, this model carries a triple rear camera setup which comprises of a 50MP (OIS) lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree angle of view and a 2MP depth sensor. It is safe to say that the phone does a decent job in capturing images during the daylight condition. Basically, the colours are mostly on point with just the right amount of contrast. In addition, the primary camera offers a decent dynamic range while capturing ample details. Also, when focusing on a particular element in an image, the primary camera does a good job at isolating the subject from the background automatically giving a portrait-like effect. As for the macro sensor, it does a surprisingly good job at capturing the tiniest differentiating details. However, there are definitely some hits and misses when it comes to capturing the shadows. In terms of its performance, The Galaxy M34 5G, as mentioned before, comes with the company’s own Exynos chipset, which is unlike other phones in the under 20K market segment that come with either a MediaTek or a Qualcomm chipset. While it might seem like an odd choice to some, this phone does not show any signs of slowing down in day-to-day usage such as answering calls and messages on WhatsApp, attending meetings, going through a never-ending stream of emails and catching up on an episode or two of the show on various OTT platforms. Overall, it is a great phone to be explored, depending on the need and preference of the user.
